Summer Update

Dear Charter Members,

Hope summer is going awesome for you all!  May the Lord bless you as you work, rest, and dodge the mosquitos!

Just a few announcements:

1. First, thank you!  I was organizing (believe it or not, I do organize occasionally) and was reminded of how much support we have received over the year.  I had everything from Valentine Legos to cough drops to gift cards given to me this year and I valued each and every one!!!  Thank you so much!! We all truly appreciate you and your thoughtfulness!  Whether it was prayer, a gift, or financial support, your generosity was treasured!

2. Second, back to school night and BBQ!  Save the date! On August 20th we are planning on a 6:00 PM Pinions Family gathering and Back to School meeting! This will be a chance to see one another during the summer and to meet new families.

• We will be meeting at Grace Baptist. We will be having burgers and hot dogs and bottled water.

• If your last name starts with A-M, please bring a side (chips, salad, beans, etc)

• If your last name starts with M-Z, please bring a dessert.

  
  

3. Third, Electives!  So far, we have two Charter members offering electives in the afternoon of second semester this year!

• Digital Media will be offered by Mr. Scott and Christian Evidences by Mr. Hill and Mr. Mitchell.Also, don’t forget there are a lot of electives offered online. This site has a bunch of free ones: https://freedomhomeschooling.com/electives/ . • There are lots of options out there that can fit any schedule! We will assist you with grading and recordkeeping.

4. Lastly, PINIONS GEAR!!  As a reminder, students will be wearing uniforms this year.  Be on the lookout for an email this week about the online store for purchasing uniform t-shirts and sweatshirts.
